★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recomend a visit while you’re in Catania. The museum itself is very nice. Surely some of the pieces catch my eye. To be honest to me it seemed like buch of randon pieces, I would prefere a bit of connection or an explanation. No controversial issues were mention. There were multiple “pretty lady on canvas” pieces which is not very conteporary to me. Maybe it would be a good thing to think about the concept of this museum a bit more. Also the pieces from far away contries with no connection to Italy can not make very much sence to a visitor even though they may be good ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place, staff is friendly and very collaborative. As for the artworks that are displayed, they are very interesting and intense. The only thing that this museum lacks are descriptions to accompany the artworks, explaining what they mean and maybe even how they came to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommend if you are into contemporary art, a place to spend 1-ish hour or so. This is a place that gives you a little surprises but will NOT overwhelm you with artworks or information.
A very small but comfortable gallery which is out of expectation, surprised me a lot. The settings and the experience is well decided and thought-through. I can tell how much efforts the gallery has put.
Great works and inspired us a lot. I am especially impressed by the "dark room" theme.
