Interesting museum, not large, but with interesting exhibits. Pole of attraction for a little-known country outside the province of Chieti, but which, with its Castle and an interesting calendar of historical, gastronomic and cultural events, represents an interested pole of economic and tourist development for the entire Abruzzo

Museum inside the ducal castle of crecchio, not very large but well stocked with local historical finds. I recommend the visit if you are in the area. The only flaw, there is no real guide to explain the origin and details of the finds.

I visited the Museum inside the Castle of Crecchio (Ch). The rooms are numerous and with many artifacts found in the vicinity of Crecchio, but also in other areas of Abruzzo. In each room there are extensive and detailed descriptions of the exhibits. The royal family has also stayed in the Castle and there are photographic evidence besides the bed the king slept. ?????

Ben tenuto, pulito e ordinato.
Well maintained, clean and tidy. As usual in Italy the signs to get there are close to the place and only thanks to google we have discovered this site of considerable interest. It is absolutely worth a visit as there is also a beautiful and historic village.

Caruccio . Almeno.
Caruccio. The museum is not that great, there aren't many exhibits and some are badly set up. The ascent via the spiral staircase to the tower is beautiful. Admission on offer ... At least.

Fabulous place to visit mapping the local history of the inhabitants with artefacts spanning thousands of years. I was totally amazed by the variety and attention to putting these artefacts as commentary of lives within this area. The museum was free but please make a donation to keep it alive. A must visit.

Worth a visit to all people loving history. The discoveries hosted here testify one of the most important yet controversial part of the Italian history, demonstrating the bizantine empire being part of this territory. Nice pictures can be taken from the view top tower. Free entrance, donation welcomed. This castle hosted the last king of Italy while escaping during the second world was.
