È composto da tre templi, di cui due con pronao, cella e cripta, il cui fronte è rivolto a sud-est verso il foro romano.
Sono stati edificati in epoca romana, su fondamenta risalenti al V-IV secolo a.C., con mura in calcestruzzo rivestite con blocchetti di pietra cementati ad opus reticulatum e mattoni.
Il centro sacro è databile al II-I secolo a.C., quando l'antica Teate divenne municipio romano e si rese necessario un capitolium dedicato a Giove, Giunone e Minerva.
Nell'VIII secolo il tempio maggiore fu trasformato in chiesa cristiana consacrata ai Santi Pietro e Paolo.
Attualmente vi sono conservati frammenti scultorei, busti, pietre sepolcrali e monete.

It is made up of three temples, two of which have a pronaos, a cell and a crypt, the front of which faces south-east towards the Roman forum.
They were built in Roman times, on foundations dating back to the 5th-4th century BC, with concrete walls covered with stone blocks cemented with opus reticulatum and bricks.
The sacred center dates back to the 2nd-1st century BC, when the ancient Teate became a Roman municipality and a capitolium dedicated to Jupiter, Juno and Minerva was needed.
In the 8th century the main temple was transformed into a Christian church consecrated to Saints Peter and Paul.
Currently there are preserved sculptural fragments, busts, sepulchral stones and coins.
