Ed infatti di scarpiana memoria risulta, agli occhi del visitatore attento, la lunga lista di dettagli dal Pagnano progettati. Sembra che qui mi sia soffermato più sul contenitore piuttosto che sul contenuto...ma esso è tutto da scoprire. Consiglio vivamente di visitare il Museo San Nicolò. Giuseppe Pagnano, nel 1981 nella Chiesa di San Nicolò (Patrimonio UNESCO 2002), nei locali sottostanti l' altare maggiore scoperti quasi per caso. È stato aperto al pubblico nel 1985, grazie anche alla volontà della comunità parrocchiale, dopo un minuzioso lavoro di restauro e recupero mirato a conservare e valorizzare il patrimonio artistico, storico e culturale della Chiesa di San Nicolò-SS. Salvatore e delle sue sette filiali, oramai chiuse o inaccessibili al pubblico. Il percorso all' interno delle 20 sale del Museo si snoda in un suggestivo allestimento scenografico volto alla massima valorizzazione degli ambienti e mira ad accompagnare il visitatore in una continua scoperta culturale, storica, artistica, emozionale e spirituale. Nelle diverse sale vi sono esposti argenti, oggetti devozionali, arredi sacri, importanti dipinti e sculture ecc. che spaziano in un periodo di tempo che va dal XlV al XVIII secolo, frutto di un ricco passato culturale della cittadina di Militello V.C Museum of sacred art born, after renovation work, curated by the arch. Il museo si articola all'interno delle catacombe della chiesa ed è ricco di manufatti sacri, le guide che ci anno accompagnato inoltre si sono dimostrate preparate e cordiali. To visit ABSOLUTELY!
