Il Signor Edy e sua figlia sono il fiore all'occhiello del Museo: Edy ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande sulla sua passione per i minerali, mentre sua figlia continuava a lavorare al bracciale di lapislazzuli su commissione. Infatti è presente anche un laboratorio artigianale dove avviene la lavorazione manuale delle pietre dure che possono essere acquistate singolarmente o diventare delle gioie da indossare. Edy è un uomo che crea bellezza attraverso la sua raccolta di minerali, la pittura, la poesia e la sua vita straordinaria...sicuramente un orgoglio per Bormio. Beautiful morning at the Mineralogical Museum !!! The collection of minerals is breathtaking for the variety and quantity. Mr. Edy and his daughter are the flagship of the Museum: Edy answered all our questions about her passion for minerals, while her daughter continued to work on the commissioned lapis lazuli bracelet. In fact there is also an artisan workshop where the manual processing of semi-precious stones takes place that can be purchased individually or become joys to wear. Edy is a man who creates beauty through his collection of minerals, painting, poetry and his extraordinary life ... definitely a pride for Bormio.

E' interessante ed istruttivo, e c'è sempre a disposizione qualcuno a cui chiedere se si vogliono informazioni di approfondimento. E' anche allestito molto bene, quindi merita proprio una visita. Really very nice. It is a private museum, and it must be said that the passion of the owners is truly remarkable. It is interesting and instructive, and there is always someone available to ask if you want further information. It is also very well set up, so it is definitely worth a visit.

Se si soggiorna a Bormio questa esperienza deve essere fatta. Un bel pomeriggio e abbiamo scoperto un mondo a noi poco conosciuto It was a really good experience; Edy opened the museum just for us and thrilled us with her stories about various minerals that are the result of incredible work and passion. Splendida e ampia collezione di fossili e minerali trovati dal proprietario, Edy Romani, nel territorio circostante. Ad Ottobre era in allestimento anche una seconda sala di minerali provenienti da tutto il mondo! Traspare chiaramente la passione del signor Romani e di sua figlia, cordialissimi. È stato affascinante per me ed i miei amici poterli ascoltare. Nella sala dei diorami, inoltre, si possono osservare esempi di fauna tipica del Parco dello Stelvio (esemplari morti naturalmente e poi impagliati dallo stesso Edy). Infine, si possono acquistare pietre dure, gioielli, mosaici e tanto altro nel loro negozietto, dato che hanno anche un laboratorio artigianale! A small pearl in Bormio, a very interesting stop especially for enthusiasts. Splendid and extensive collection of fossils and minerals found by the owner, Edy Romani, in the surrounding area. In October a second room of minerals from all over the world was also under construction! The passion of Mr. Romani and his daughter, very cordial, is clearly evident. It was fascinating for me and my friends to be able to listen to them. In the diorama room, moreover, you can see examples of typical fauna of the Stelvio Park (specimens that died naturally and then stuffed by Edy himself). Finally, you can buy semiprecious stones, jewels, mosaics and much more in their shop, as they also have an artisan workshop!

Il museo ha tanta voglia di farsi conoscere, peccato che non venga riconosciuto di più dal Comune di Bormio e tutta l'Italia. Bellissima i gioielli e le opere d'arte mineraria del signor Edy, disponibile anche a creare opere personalizzate su richiesta. Vale veramente la Pena di visitarla. Very nice Mineralogical Museum, full of history for each mineral discovered by Mr. Edy a person full of passion in his work. The museum has a great desire to make itself known, it is a pity that it is not recognized more by the Municipality of Bormio and all of Italy. Mr. Edy's jewelry and mining artwork is beautiful, also available to create custom works upon request. It is really worth a visit.
