★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MUSEO FRANCESCO LOMBARDO Un luogo che ripropone uno spaccato dei primi anni del '900 siciliano attraverso la storia di un uomo che ha vissuto il suo tempo che ha saputo trasformare la sua artigianalita' in arte della cartapesta che con i suoi giocattoli e le sue opere ha caratterizzato un epoca. Tutt' oggi ricordato come Scultore e Maestro della cartapesta. Un valido esempio di cosa vuol dire antropologia culturale. Un luogo da visitare assolutamente. Un Museo che incarna l'arduo compito di trasferire, alle generazioni future, la tecnica della cartapesta, applicata anche nell' arte statuaria.
FRANCESCO LOMBARDO MUSEUM A place that re-proposes a cross-section of the Sicilian early 1900s through the story of a man who lived his time who was able to transform his craftsmanship into the art of papier-mâché which, with his toys and works, has characterized an era. Today he is still remembered as a sculptor and master of papier-mâché. A good example of what cultural anthropology means. A place to visit absolutely. A museum that embodies the arduous task of transferring the papier-mâché technique, also applied to statuary art, to future generations.
