★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo sporco, nel periodo estivo diventa, grazie all'inciviltà dei fruitori e nonostante lo sforzo della PA, una pattumiera, soprattutto le zone dove non sorgono i lidi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unica pecca lo sfondo alle spalle, fanno da padrona le ciminiere degli stabilimenti, oramai area attrezzatissima , con servizi di ogni genere, posteggi a pagamento, lidi attrezzati, sabbia pulita , acque nonostante tutto cristalline , e sempre a temperature miti..!
The only flaw is the background behind, the chimneys of the factories dominate, now a fully equipped area, with all kinds of services, paid parking, equipped beaches, clean sand, crystal clear waters despite everything, and always at mild temperatures ..!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mare meraviglioso, spiaggia spesso molto sporca e trascurata, alle spalle gli impianti del petrolchimico con relativi miasmi che esalano in alcuni momenti della giornata e la centrale Enel con un frastuono continuo, peccato! Tuttavia è possibile godere di una bella passeggiata fino alla penisola di Tapsos, dove si possono trovare tombe di epoca greca e fabbricati militari in disuso visitabili. Inoltre nelle vicinanze c'è l'area protetta delle saline di Priolo dove è possibile praticare il bird watching per ammirare magnifici fenicotteri ed altre specie. Tutta l'area è ricca di vegetazione spontanea tipica della macchia mediterranea.
Wonderful sea, often very dirty and neglected beach, behind the petrochemical plants with relative miasmas that emanate at certain times of the day and the Enel plant with a continuous noise, too bad! However, it is possible to enjoy a nice walk to the Tapsos peninsula, where you can find tombs from the Greek era and disused military buildings that can be visited. Also nearby there is the protected area of the Priolo salt pans where it is possible to practice bird watching to admire magnificent flamingos and other species. The whole area is rich in spontaneous vegetation typical of the Mediterranean scrub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da siracusana non lo consiglierei mai e poi mai!! Spiaggia inquinata dai residui del petrolchimico che ha rovinato quella che sarebbe dovuta essere una delle spiagge più belle del siracusano!! Peccato…
As a Syracusan I would never, ever recommend it !! Beach polluted by petrochemical residues that ruined what should have been one of the most beautiful beaches in Syracuse !! Pity…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is very strange as it’s set in a very industrial part of town. You’ll find incredibly beautiful beaches here with calm and clear waters, shallow entries and fine sand. If you walk and park to the very end of the beach, you’ll find complete privacy and a paradise all to your own. It is very sad to see trash here however, this area has so much potential.
