★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A most memorable museum of Venice, well hidden from the tourist crowds (although in just 2 minutes from Rialto bridge).. look out for the most outstanding curated exhibitions in the area and some extraordinary compilation of ancient (think 1000BC) and modern art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, but left quite disappointed at the lack of focus on the textiles and fashion. I expected to be able to view Fortuny dresses and fabric displays, perhaps an example of the printing process. The gift shop had nothing Fortuny patterned, no small fabric swatches to purchase. In all, not a proper show of the material a “Fortuniac” wanted to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite gallery in Venice. If you go to one Modern / Contemporary art museum while you’re in Venice make sure it is this one!
Located in an old factory that was converted into the palace and gallery that you see today - the building itself is worth the 12€ entry fee. The gallery contains a number of well known artists such as Moro, Rothko, Munch and Duchamp. The gallery is beautifully curated, and is like no gallery I’ve ever seen before. W
