Esperienza davvero negativa. Locale sporco, come da foto. Volontari davvero impreparati nella spiegazione, oggetti esposti in maniera confusionale senza alcun criterio.
Really bad experience. Dirty room, like photos. Volunteers really unprepared in the explanation, objects exposed in a confused way without any criteria.

A well set up museum, full of documents, testimonies and objects that enhance a past rich in memories. The choice to combine stories of land and sea - as well as the stories of illustrious men and those of fishermen and farmers - proves to be successful and, undoubtedly, allows you to relive the industriousness and cultural identity of two parallel worlds animated by the passion for work and a common propensity for a sense of sacrifice. Lastly, I would like to point out the delicacy and preparation of the staff who, through voluntary work and with great diligence, have taken steps to rebuild an almost forgotten culture. My rating is 10.

Recommended stop to discover Milazzo. Small, free, well organized museum that is worth a visit.

I have visited this museum several times during my eight months in Milazzo and have found it very good. It is quite small, but they make full use of the space. Many aspects of life in days gone by are covered, with a wonderful variety of artefacts and plenty of helpful labelling: fishing, boat building, the cultivation of olives, geological work and much more. I am writing this review because I saw one saying the place was poorly run and confusing. I disagree. The volunteers who put the displays together, and the people who contributed their artefacts and photos, deserve credit and encouragement.
