Notevolissimi gli affreschi che decorano le pareti ed il soffitto di quasi tutti gli ambienti, meraviglioso in pavimento della "Camera delle Duo Letta".

Dal 2009 i locali a pian terreno sono stati trasformati in museo; vi si descrive la storia del proprietario, della sua casa, delle sue attività commerciali e imprenditoriali. Si traccia inoltre la storia dell'ente assistenziale creato dal mercante, a cui il fondatore lasciò tutti i suoi beni. L'ingresso è gratuito.
It is the palace of a merchant, Francesco di Marco Datini, who lived in the fifteenth century
Since 2009 the rooms on the ground floor have been transformed into a museum; it describes the history of the owner, his home, his business and business activities. The history of the charity created by the merchant is also traced, to which the founder left all his possessions. Admission is free.
