Al suo interno pregevoli architetture medioevali, pale lignee e arredi sacri di prim'ordine e per chi ne avesse interesse, una cappella interamente affrescata nel 1400 da Nicolò di Pietro Gerini in stile tardo gotico. Bello anche il chiostro medievale con tombe e statue da scoprire, purtroppo non sempre accessibile. L'insieme è una vera meraviglia, inaspettata. Da visitare assolutamente

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di San Francesco si affaccia proprio sulla omonima piazza. Bellissimo la facciata e gli interni, con stile architettonico Romanico Fiorentino, Neogotico e rinascimentale. La facciata bellissima è costruita a fasce di pietra alberese e serpentino. Bellissima.
The church of San Francesco overlooks the square of the same name. The façade and the interiors are beautiful, with Florentine, Neo-Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. The beautiful facade is built in bands of alberese and serpentine stone. Gorgeous.

Ed a detta del custode dopo i restauri della chiesa ne vedremo delle belle...noi aspettiamo. Ingresso dalla chiesa di San Francesco
