I	Ilario Bonomi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veramente affascinante, ma quasi fin troppo documentato...si arriva quasi stanchi in fondo con tutto il materiale che c'è da vedere, tra cui i numerosi affreschi, li originali della danza dei putti di Donatello, quadri pregevolissimi (i Lippi, Paolo Uccello), corali miniati, e una curiosa stanza con delle ciotole usate a mo' di vespaio. Da non perdere anche l'ex chiostro, purtroppo devastato dai bombardamenti. Truly fascinating, but almost too documented ... you get almost tired after all with all the material there is to see, including the numerous frescoes, the originals of Donatello's dance of the cherubs, extremely valuable paintings (Lippi, Paolo Uccello), illuminated choirs, and a curious room with bowls used as a crawl space. Do not miss the former cloister, unfortunately devastated by bombing.
a	alisei. net on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un museo di piccole dimensioni ma molto interessante che si sviluppa su più livelli in parte sul fianco e in parte sotto il Duomo. Si inizia il percorso accedendo alle "Volte", ambiente coperto da crociere affrescate utilizzato per le sepolture. Proseguendo, le varie sale ospitano diversi oggetti del culto come le custodie della Sacra Cintola utilizzate nel tempo, paramenti sacerdotali, spettacolari Graduali miniati del 1400 e notevoli dipinti religiosi di Filippo Lippi. E' presente anche una piccola zona archeologica i cui scavi hanno permesso il recupero di diversi oggetti tra cui alcuni risalenti al periodo etrusco. Nella sala del Pulpito è conservato l'originale del parapetto del pulpito esterno utilizzato per le ostensioni esterne della Sacra Cintola, una splendida opera in rilievo del Donatello A small but very interesting museum that develops on several levels partly on the side and partly under the Cathedral. Inoltre ospita la Sacra Cintola una reliquia molto venerata dai credenti cattolici. Jest tam mnóstwo makiet i ozdób niewykorzystanych w obecnej katedrze oraz ciekawie przedstawiona historia jej budowy. Warto. Worth visiting. A complete surprise, but you can see plans for the construction of the cathedral, original tools and scaffolding from the period. There are a lot of models and decorations unused in the present cathedral, and the history of its construction is presented in an interesting way. It's worth it.

Ammirevole la sezione archeologica, per lo sforzo di fare capire la storia di Prato fino al Duecento. An authentic jewel.
