Da poco in una nuova veste che permette apprezzare al meglio gli oggetti esposti, molto tratti fuori dai depositi comunali e restaurati. Ingresso libero. Se si è amanti della storia od almeno curiosi, fortemente consigliato. This splendid museum is housed in the splendid rooms of the Palazzo Laderchi, rich in memorabilia, paintings and documents, often difficult to observe, especially concerning our Risorgimento, to which the Faentini made a great contribution. Recently in a new guise that allows you to better appreciate the exhibits, much taken out of the municipal and restored warehouses. Free admission. If you are a history lover or at least curious, strongly recommended.

Bellissimo anche il palazzo che custodisce la collezione. Well kept, a casket of treasures on the history of Romagna in the concreteness of the Faenza people. Un luogo dove poter apprendere in tutta tranquillità un po' di storia della propria città e degli accadimenti, nonché dei personaggi che l'hanno caratterizzata durante il Risorgimento. Non mancano le sezioni dedicate al periodo dell'Italia coloniale che ha avuto un faentino fra i protagonisti (Cap. Carchidio) e alla Grande Guerra (1915-18). Visita ancor più interessante, per gli immediati riscontri offerti, dopo aver letto il libro 'Le guerre dei faentini' di Albonetti/Randi/Gamberini da poco uscito in libreria. Una delle sale è attualmente occupata da una mostra temporanea dedicata alla seconda guerra mondiale e in specifico ai bombardamenti della città di Leningrado (oggi San Pietroburgo) nel 1943 e di Faenza nel1944, un parallelo forse un po' estremo, ma comunque interessante. Il plastico con la ricostruzione del bombardamento di Leningrado è estremamente evocativo ed efficace. Among the many surprises of Faenza.
