★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful museum featuring ceramics from Faenza and around the world. A really amazing collection that also features the winners of a ceramics competition held in Faenza every year. The building is also quite beautiful in its own right. Just a short note, if you're elderly and need to sit down from time to time, there are only squishy foam benches which wobble a little, so it might be uncomfortable. But the museum isn't enormous or anything and I'm sure you'll be provided with a chair if you ask, as the staff was super friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge, something for everyone. Of great interest to anyone involved in ceramics. I absolutely loved the amount of Italian grotesque motifs which are hard to find examples of where I'm from, and nouveau examples were also inspiring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to renowned ceramic museums in Paris, Limoges, and Naples… and this center is just as memorable. It is particularly strong in contemporary pieces, but also provides a nice historical survey. I spent 7 hours here, but one can cover it all more rapidly.
