★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo di antichità si trova per andare alla cattedrale e al castello di San Giusto.
È diviso in due parti: il giardino con reperti romani e L'interno con diverse sezioni dedicate agli egizi, ai romani, agli etruschi, ecc...
Le sale più belle, secondo me, sono quelle dedicate agli egizi, e il giardino.
CONSIGLIATA LA VISITA, soprattutto per chi ama la storia antica.
Tempo di percorrenza: 40 minuti/1 ora.
 The museum of antiquities is located to go to the cathedral and the castle of San Giusto.
It is divided into two parts: the garden with Roman finds and the interior with different sections dedicated to the Egyptians, the Romans, the Etruscans, etc ...
The most beautiful rooms, in my opinion, are those dedicated to the Egyptians, and the garden.
VISIT RECOMMENDED, especially for those who love ancient history.
Journey time: 40 minutes / 1 hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo possiede un'ottima collezione. Peccato tre cose:
1) La scarsa protezione ai cimeli (Alcuni non erano protetti dal vetro e la gente toccava.)
2) La disposizione di alcune scritte era molto scomoda (esempio: per il sarcofago della prima sala egizia bisognava mettersi a terra per poter leggere, nella saletta piccola invece a causa della bassa luce era impossibile leggere la descrizione della Mummia di uomo)
3) Alcuni cimeli sono poco sfruttati: La testa di coccodrillo messa sotto la vetrina all'ombra era praticamente inosservabile.
Tutto sommato il museo merita davvero tanto!
The museum has an excellent collection. Too bad three things:
1) The poor protection of the memorabilia (Some were not protected by the glass and people were touching.)
2) The arrangement of some writings was very uncomfortable (example: for the sarcophagus of the first Egyptian room you had to get on the ground to be able to read, in the small room instead due to the low light it was impossible to read the description of the Mummy of a man)
3) Some relics are little exploited: The crocodile head placed under the showcase in the shade was practically undetectable.
All in all, the museum really deserves a lot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo molto bello, e ad offerta libera. Da visitare sicuramente assieme alla cattedrale. Ha tantissimi reperti comprese due o tre mummie complete. Merita una visita. Consigliatissimo
Very nice museum, and free offer. Definitely worth visiting together with the cathedral. It has tons of exhibits including two or three complete mummies. Worth a visit. Highly recommended

MA voto terribile per il peesonale interno:
Se. Museo chiude alle 17 non posso essere cacciato allle 16:45 con insistemza dal personlae che mi ha guidato a forza verso l'uscita! (per altro dal piano terra....)
Very nice to see, interesting outside (with courteous and trained staff)
BUT terrible vote for the internal peesonal:
Self. Museum closes at 5 pm I cannot be kicked out at 4:45 pm with insistence by the person who led me by force towards the exit! (by the way from the ground floor ....)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pur essendo triestina non c'ero mai stata! L'ho fatto perché sapevo che poteva piacere a nostra nipote e volevo farla felice. Interessante, ben tenuto ,con le regole per il Covid , mi son piaciute le spiegazioni esaurienti, i manufatti archeologici, ritrovamenti in luoghi conosciuti ( perfino a San Dorligo dove abitiamo) una vera sorpresa! Andava letto tutto ma non avevamo tanto tempo! La custode ci ha regalato numerosi depliant per "conoscere" quanti posti di cultura ci sono a Trieste!E per noi una novità!!!!
Although I was from Trieste I had never been there! I did it because I knew our niece might like her and I wanted to make her happy. Interesting, well maintained, with the rules for Covid, I liked the exhaustive explanations, the archaeological artifacts, finds in known places (even in San Dorligo where we live) a real surprise! Everything had to be read but we didn't have much time! The caretaker gave us numerous brochures to "know" how many places of culture there are in Trieste! And a novelty for us !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessantissima scoperta questo museo mi ha sorpreso per la varietà e la ricchezza dei reperti esposti davvero di rilievo. Bello anche il palazzo e il giardino antistante. Ne consiglio la visita perché ne vale veramente la pena. Collezioni romana, etrusca, egizia davvero molto ben tenute e varie.
Very interesting discovery, this museum surprised me for the variety and richness of the really important exhibits. The palace and the front garden are also beautiful. I recommend a visit because it is really worth it. Roman, Etruscan, Egyptian collections very well kept and varied.
