★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visitabile durante la prima domenica del mese gratuitamente, o con 4€. Al primo piano del Castello di Barletta vi è il museo Civico. Suddiviso in Galleria Antica, con opere dal 1400 e 1700 principalmente donate da l'artista Giuseppe Gabbiani, con opere di Tiepolo e Mattia Preti. Poi cavi è la Galleria dell’Ottocento con la Collezione Giuseppe Gabbiani, con disegni e dipinti di artisti databili dal XIV al XIX secolo. Infine la Galleria Cafiero con mobili, armi, bronzetti, oreficerie, tessuti, ceramiche, suppellettili d’arredo. Conserva anche una giunta rossa del Garibaldino di Barletta. Attenzione quando passeggiate nel centro storico di Barletta a non pestare le feci di cani che disseminano le strade. Purtroppo non vengono raccolte dai proprietari!
It can be visited on the first Sunday of the month for free, or for € 4. On the first floor of the Barletta Castle there is the Civic museum. Divided into the Ancient Gallery, with works from the 1400s and 1700s mainly donated by the artist Giuseppe Gabbiani, with works by Tiepolo and Mattia Preti. Then there is the 19th century Gallery with the Giuseppe Gabbiani Collection, with drawings and paintings by artists dating from the 14th to the 19th century. Finally, the Cafiero Gallery with furniture, weapons, bronzes, goldsmiths, fabrics, ceramics, furnishings. It also preserves a red junta by Garibaldino di Barletta. Be careful when walking in the historic center of Barletta not to step on the feces of dogs that scatter the streets. Unfortunately they are not collected by the owners!
