T	Thomas Buratti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ bel posto incastonato nel verde. Salita un po' impervia ma è ventilato e sotto gli alberi è fresco. Luogo ben curato anche se sembra abbandonato, ma non lo è. Ci fanno anche meeting scientifici e laboratori! Peccato che quando vado è sempre vuoto. Posto silenzioso e tranquillo, c'è acqua corrente e tanto spazio per riposare e rilassarsi. Tanti spunti fotografici. A due passi da una cittadina. Stradina per arrivarci in auto o camper difficile, con una discesa bella tosta. nice place set in the green. The climb is a bit steep but it is windy and cool under the trees. Well maintained place even if it seems abandoned, but it is not. They also hold scientific meetings and workshops there! Too bad that when I go it is always empty. Quiet and peaceful place, there is running water and plenty of space to rest and relax. Many photographic ideas. A stone's throw from a town. Difficult road to get there by car or camper, with a pretty tough descent.

Avvolti dalla natura a dal silenzio, sono da visitare i suggestivi ambienti scavati nella parete di tufo dai frati camaldolesi che edificarono l'eremo in una radura della stretta valle del Corvo, non lontano da Cupramontana enchanting place surrounded by nature, despite the recovery works it is still a bit wild today, as it had been abandoned for years. M	Manolo Leoperdi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spettacolare costruzione monastica, immersa nel verde della natura. Si raggiunge facilmente, dopo una leggera passeggiata di una decina di minuti. Si può parcheggiare la macchina ai piedi del sentiero, chiuso da una sbarra per regolamentare il passaggio delle auto. Corsi d'acqua e ruscelli accompagnano lungo la salita, fino a giungere in vista dell'eremo. Quiete totale... tant'è che neanche i cellulari hanno campo (fortunatamente). Spectacular monastic building, immersed in the green of nature. It can be reached easily, after a light walk of about ten minutes. Si chiama percorso blu, si va a piedi per circa 10/12 minuti in un sentiero che poi si apre e ci si trova l'eremo davanti agli occhi. Bella visione con una parte incastonata nella roccia, ma niente altro. Non è tenuto molto bene, tutto chiuso e quindi solo visibile dall'esterno. Circondato dal verde, non c è altro da vedere o da fare e devo essere sincero mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Unica nota positiva il silenzio che la fa da padrone. I must say difficult to find the small road that then leads to the hermitage. It is called the blue path, you go on foot for about 10/12 minutes in a path that then opens and you find the hermitage in front of your eyes. Nice view with a part set in the rock, but nothing else. It is not very well kept, all closed and therefore only visible from the outside. Surrounded by greenery, there is nothing else to see or do and I have to be honest I was expecting something more. Ontani neri, gigli rossi, orchidee piramidali e molte altre specie rare accompagnano la passeggiata lungo un sentiero suggestivo che, ad ogni passo, si carica di spiritualità. Un’area floristica protetta attraversata da un ruscello, detto Fossato del Corvo, il cui scorrere lento scandisce un tempo che qui sembra dilatarsi fino a diventare eterno. L’eremo è, altresì, famoso per essere stato dimora di beati e santi. Si deve ricordare anche che i monaci benedettini e camaldolesi hanno introdotto la coltivazione della vite e della produzione del vino che ha fatto, oggi, di questa parte d’Italia, la “Capitale del Verdicchio”. Black alders, red lilies, pyramidal orchids and many other rare species accompany the walk along a suggestive path that, at every step, is charged with spirituality. A protected floristic area crossed by a stream, called Fossato del Corvo, whose slow flow marks a time that here seems to expand until it becomes eternal. The hermitage is also famous for being the home of blessed and saints. It should also be remembered that the Benedictine and Camaldolese monks introduced the cultivation of vines and the production of wine that has made this part of Italy the "Capital of Verdicchio" today.
