★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peccato che non ho potuto visitarlo. Il museo è visitabile la Domenica o in giorni festivi dalle 10 alle 12. Nei giorni feriali è visitabile alle comitive solo su prenotazione. Spero di poterci ritornare qualche Domenica.
Too bad I couldn't visit it. The museum can be visited on Sunday or public holidays from 10 to 12. On weekdays it can be visited by groups only by reservation. I hope to be back some Sunday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il museo, composto da cinque sale, è situato sulla fiancata della chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore in un caratteristico vicolo si Mirabella Eclano. All'interno possiamo ammirare vari pezzi di arte sacra quali paramenti, busti, libri e pergamene antiche e anche delle campane, la più antica risale ai primi del 1200. Sotto il pavimento, sono state rinvenute tracce murarie del XV-XVII sec. presumibilmente appartenenti a granarie circolari, una vetusta struttura di basolato e una fornace trapezoidale del XIII sec. probabilmente usata per la fusione di una campana. Queste strutture sono visibili da alcune parti del pavimento in cristallo.
The museum, consisting of five rooms, is located on the side of the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in a characteristic alley of Mirabella Eclano. Inside we can admire various pieces of sacred art such as vestments, busts, books and ancient parchments and also some bells, the oldest dates back to the early 1200s. Under the floor, traces of walls from the XV-XVII century have been found. presumably belonging to circular grains, an ancient paving stone structure and a trapezoidal furnace from the 13th century. probably used for the casting of a bell. These structures are visible from some parts of the crystal floor.
