★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo Museo con ingresso gratuito situato nel complesso conventuale di San Francesco a Folloni. Nel Museo è possibile visitare anche un'antica biblioteca. Nel Museo ci sono bellissimi quadri e antiche statue marmoree. Bellissimo anche visitare il Convento. La storia racconta che fu fondato direttamente da San Francesco in viaggio verso Montesant'Angelo in Puglia. Consiglio di visitarlo assolutamente

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto carino e interessante da visitare. Ampio e comodo parcheggio. Sulla parte laterale si trova un bel giardino con panche e tettoie, ideale per consumare pasti all'aperto. Vi anche un museo.
Very nice and interesting place to visit. Large and convenient parking. On the side there is a beautiful garden with benches and canopies, ideal for having meals outside. There is also a museum.

Le sue fondamenta risalgono al XIII secolo ma ciò che vediamo oggi è frutto di cambiamenti e ampliamenti terminati verso la metà del 1700. Invito tutti a trovare in internet dettagli sulle origini, sulle leggende e storia di questo monumento nazionale a due passi dal centro della ridente Montella. Notevoli poi sono anche le iniziative e gli eventi legati a questo convento. Non ultima la XXI edizione del “Francesco d’Incanto” che tra arte, cultura, spiritualità, musica inaugura l’autunno irpino. Posto nel verde (organizzato, e con area picnic) assolutamente da visitare!
Church, convent, museum ... in a nutshell: a wonderful place of worship and spirituality. Its foundations date back to the 13th century but what we see today is the result of changes and extensions that ended in the mid-1700s. Montella. The initiatives and events linked to this convent are also noteworthy. Last but not least, the XXI edition of "Francesco d'Incanto" which between art, culture, spirituality and music inaugurates the Irpinia autumn. Place in the green (organized, and with picnic area) absolutely to visit!
