★ ★ ★ ★ ★ E' senz'altro la costruzione megalitica più impressionante dell'Ossola.
Colpiscono l'attenzione soprattutto il lato sud ed il lato ovest nel quale si apre una nicchia. Il muro prosegue poi verso nord per alcune decine di metri abbassandosi però d'altezza. Il tutto forma una sorta di terrazzamento erboso aperto sulla Valle Antigorio.
Se ne ignora l'epoca di edificazione così come il suo utilizzo e questo nonostante vari studi e ricerche archeologiche che hanno, comunque, portato al ritrovamento di reperti dell'età romana.
La superstizione popolare la considera opera del Diavolo intenzionato a gettare ad Arvenolo la base di un ponte che attraversasse la valle fino a Cravegna.
La strada asfaltata che sale ad Arvenolo è percorribile solo dagli autorizzati.
It is undoubtedly the most impressive megalithic construction in Ossola.
Particularly striking the south side and the west side in which a niche opens. The wall then continues north for a few tens of meters, however lowering in height. The whole forms a sort of grassy terrace open to the Antigorio Valley.
The time of construction as well as its use are unknown and this despite various studies and archaeological researches that have, however, led to the discovery of Roman remains.
Popular superstition considers it the work of the Devil who wanted to throw the base of a bridge that crossed the valley to Cravegna in Arvenolo.
The asphalted road that goes up to Arvenolo can only be used by authorized persons.
