Il Muma espone l'operato dei missionari cappuccini in Amazonia attraverso una chiave multimediale che aiuta nel migliore dei modi il visitatore a comprendere il significato delle missioni, oltre ad essere un'unicità del panorama (davvero troppo a volte) turistico assisano!
 A truly different experience from all that Assisi represents, except for strictly sacred places! The Muma exposes the work of the Capuchin missionaries in Amazonia through a multimedia key that helps the visitor in the best way to understand the meaning of the missions, as well as being a uniqueness of the (really too sometimes) tourist panorama of Assisi!

L'ambiente è davvero carino, adatto a grandi e piccini, con animali ben ricostruiti e storia dei frati davvero ben raccontata. Il fatto che il costo sia la semplice offerta per le missioni dei frati è davvero la ciliegina sulla torta
A museum totally different from what you expect from Assisi. The environment is really nice, suitable for young and old, with well-reconstructed animals and a really well-told story of the friars. The fact that the cost is the simple offer for the friars' missions is really the icing on the cake

Free museum exhibiting the work of the missionaries. Arranged on three levels, very interesting. Friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms. Dogs can enter!

Lo spirito creativo fu di padre Luciano Matarazzi, un frate appassionato dell'amazzonia che costruì il Museo Missionario Indios attraverso doni che i missionari gli portavano facendo la spola tra la regione brasiliana dell'Alto Solimões e Assisi: animali imbalsamati, farfalle, strumenti musicali, maschere e artigianato di vario tipo
The Indios Missionary Museum - Capuchin friars of Umbria in the Amazon (in acronym MUMA) was born in 2011, but in Assisi a museum dedicated to the Capuchin missionaries existed since 1973. The creative spirit was of Father Luciano Matarazzi, a passionate friar of the Amazon who he built the Indios Missionary Museum through gifts that the missionaries brought him by commuting between the Brazilian region of Alto Solimões and Assisi: stuffed animals, butterflies, musical instruments, masks and handicrafts of various kinds

Really realistic museum, with simple and accurate explanations, kind staff. Excellent reconstructions. It is a pity that there are only 3 floors.
