★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agriturismo che offre qualità della materia prima e ricercatezza nei piatti. Molto apprezzata la scelta di indicare nel menù della quantità di kcal, grassi e fibre per ogni piatto. Buonissima l'insalata di pollo con verdure e frutta. Da perfezionare l'offerta dei dolci, altrimenti sarebbe stato un 5 stelle.
Farmhouse that offers quality raw materials and refined dishes. Much appreciated the choice to indicate the menu on the amount of calories, fat and fiber for each dish. The chicken salad with vegetables and fruit is delicious. From perfecting the offer of sweets, otherwise it would have been a 5 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra una portata e l'altra la cordiale sollecitudine del personale di sala, è stato il fil rouge di questa esperienza culinaria.
La vera idea differenziante è la cottura sottovuoto a bassa temperatura, che restituisce tutti i sapori originali al palato, con prodotti freschi a km zero.
Una gioia anche per gli occhi con una mise en place di semplice sobrietà e impiattamenti elegantemente minimali.
Se vuoi un posto dove ti alzi dalla sedia, avendo gustato un ottimo pasto e vuoi sentirti leggero come se avessi fatto uno spuntino, beh... smetti di cercare e fermati qui!
Il conto una piacevole sorpresa considerando porzioni non proprio da nouvelle cousine.

The real differentiating idea is the low temperature vacuum cooking, which returns all the original flavors to the palate, with fresh products at zero km.
A feast for the eyes too with a mise en place of simple sobriety and elegantly minimal dishes.
If you want a place where you get up from your chair, having enjoyed a great meal and want to feel light as if you've had a snack, well ... stop looking and stop here!
The bill was a pleasant surprise considering the portions were not exactly nouvelle cousine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beh che dire semplicemente perfetto: abbiamo soggiornato gli ultimi 15 giorni di agosto, e fortunati noi che abbiamo superato il periodo della colonia di bambini, ci siamo ritrovati in un ambiente rilassato, con piscina quasi esclusiva a nostro piacimento, spazi infiniti per far giocare Nik in sicurezza. In accoglienza la Sig.ra Claudia, gentilissima, ci ha fatto sentire a casa sin da subito. Poi complice il piccolo Nik , Flaminia che non ringraziero' mai abbastanza per la pazienza con Nik e Celeste, bravissima a far provare il "piccolo Jack" pony, ci hanno fatto sentire a CASA, e una menzione particolare ai 3 cani di casa "zampetta" "gas gas" e "pablo" per aver sopportato NIK. La cucina, tipicamente romana, è ottima ed usano solo prodotti di qualità. Che dire, al netto che rimane sempre natura e qualche animaletto fastidioso va messo in conto... ma se non vi sta bene non è il vostro posto, consigliatissima al 100%. A chiusura vi lascio due foto che renderanno bene l'idea di quel che significa rilassarsi.
Well what to say simply perfect: we stayed the last 15 days of August, and lucky we who have passed the period of the colony of children, we found ourselves in a relaxed environment, with an almost exclusive swimming pool to our liking, infinite spaces for Nik to play insecurity. In reception, Mrs. Claudia, very kind, made us feel at home right away. Then thanks to the little Nik, Flaminia who will never thank enough for the patience with Nik and Celeste, very good at making the "little Jack" pony try, they made us feel at HOME, and a special mention to the 3 house dogs "paw "" gas gas "and" pablo "for putting up with NIK. The cuisine, typically Roman, is excellent and they use only quality products. What can I say, net that there is always nature and some annoying animal must be taken into account ... but if it does not suit you it is not your place, highly recommended 100%. At the end I leave you two photos that will give a good idea of what it means to relax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A soli 3 km dal centro Cittá di Castello, il podere è un piccolo angolo di paradiso con centri estivi, centro ippico, ristorante romano "locanda di Bissa" con posti interni ed esterni (veranda in foto con bar), piscina e appartamenti per il soggiorno estivo delle proprie vacanze. Luogo adatto a grandi e piccoli per feste, compleanni, vacanze estive, cene, pranzi ecc... personale disponibile e cortese, trasparenza su tutto.
A settembre 2021 aprirà anche un agri-nido per bimbi dagli 8 ai 36 mesi nella struttura adiacente il ristorante, nonché l ex casa del fattore che è stata completamente ristrutturata.
Just 3 km from the city center of Castello, the farm is a small corner of paradise with summer camps, equestrian center, Roman restaurant "Locanda di Bissa" with indoor and outdoor seating (veranda in the photo with bar), swimming pool and apartments for the summer stay of their holidays. Place suitable for adults and children for parties, birthdays, summer holidays, dinners, lunches etc ... helpful and courteous staff, transparency on everything.
In September 2021, an agri-nest for children aged 8 to 36 months will also open in the structure adjacent to the restaurant, as well as the former farmer's house which has been completely renovated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo trovato per puro caso l'anno scorso Podere San Giovanni, gestito da Claudia e la sua famiglia, e ci siamo subito innamorati di questo posto tanto da ritornarci anche quest'anno. Se cercate la tranquillità dovete assolutamente andarci. Il podere offre come servizi il ristorante con tipica cucina romana, una bella piscina immersa nel verde ed escursioni a cavallo nella campagna di città di castello. Tutto perfetto, il personale sempre disponibile e pronto ad accogliere ogni richiesta. Grazie anche per questo soggiorno fantastico. A presto
We found Podere San Giovanni by chance last year, run by Claudia and her family, and we immediately fell in love with this place so much that we went back again this year. If you are looking for tranquility you must absolutely go there. The farm offers as services the restaurant with typical Roman cuisine, a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by greenery and excursions on horseback in the countryside of Città di Castello. Everything perfect, the staff always available and ready to accommodate any request. Thanks also for a great stay. Soon
