Very nice food! All staff are 100% dedicated to make your dinner special :) Iberia meat was really soft and tender :)

I was there with a friend because the pictures looked nice and it is #1 rated on tripadvisor. And indeed, it was quite great! White wine and cocktails were very good und very much on point, and the food was top notch! Rather small portions and quite expensive though, but this is to be expected from such a fancy restaurant and we knew it beforehand. The waiters seemed a bit irritated / weird at first, maybe because we didn't have a reservation or sth., but ended up being very nice, polite and chatty. Except, when we wanted to pay, a different waiter came to us. He had a very big head tattooed on his forearm with a small writing underneath it. My friend asked him what it shows. He answered, kinda proudly: "Mussolini!"

We had a wonderful night. The welcoming staff leads you through the menu and is very tentative. A little break between the course would be great though. The food is of great quality and prepared and plated in a fine dining maner. We stayed for hours and finished with some well prepared drinks from the bar. Thank you for a great experience and looking forward to be back.

Little bit overrated maybe because we went that posh place with full stomach, ordered something to make the waiters happy, there is no normal beer but instead 20 Eur worth of beer to keep quick visitors -like us- keep away but then location is wrong lol

The presentation of the food was absolutely amazing, and the taste was just as impressive. Additionally the staff was very accommodating and well mannered. Seemed to be very passionate about their business and customer satisfaction. Highly suggested.

Delicious food in a very hip and cool setting. You cannot go wrong with anything from the menu! One of Catania’s best!

Moon is an interesting mix of fine dining and seemingly half arsing it. The “experience drink” was great fun. It’s an interesting science experiment to accompany a standard drink, and adds a touch of fun and elegance. Unfortunately, we had very little time to enjoy it before our first dish was in front of us. The starters were amazing though. The carpaccio and tartare were both stunning and delicious, with amazing flavour combinations. As soon as the plates were gone however, our next dish arrived like they were trying to get rid of us. The primi dishes (pistachio gnocchi and the kraken dish) were full of flavour, especially the pistachio dish. This is where the high class food ended. Once again, with little time for a breather, our secondi Patti were on us. These dishes were okay, but lacked the finesse of a fine dining experience. The meat on the Catalogna dish was over cooked, and was nothing more than a slab of meat with some quite frankly disappointing wedges on the side. “I am fried” was essentially four different flavourless shrimps. Dessert gave us a chance for a breather as we told them we needed some time before ordering, but unfortunately once again was a little disappointing. The chocolate lava cake was over cooked and lacked the oozing centre one would expect, while the lavender mist that should go with the gold moon dessert was entirely forgotten. In terms of service, apart from being rushed through food, it was on the whole quite good. However, it was clear that the barman and the host were picking up a lot of slack for the wait staff who struggled to keep up with the tables. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, as the concept of the restaurant is great, and the food for the most part was good. It was the lack of consistency and attention to detail that one would expect for those prices that was the disappointing taste left in our mouths after the meal was over.

Beautiful setting, professional and polite staff. The food was tasty, but the portions were small, particularly for the price paid. Service is extremely fast, and the quantity of food meant it was easy to consume the next course right away.
