A	Anne van Tuijl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consigli per una passeggiata nelle forre col PASSEGGINO: per trovarvi in discesa conviene iniziare il percorso accanto alla Chiesa di Sant'Egidio dove vi immergerete nelle forre scavate nel tufo da subito! Da lì per arrivare sotto il vecchio borgo di Corchiano (dove c'è una salita per il paese poco prima delle attrezzature in foto) ci vuole un'ora circa, piccola pausa inclusa. Attenzione: gran parte del percorso è percorribile col passeggino, intorno alla "grotta" (foto) a ca. metà strada c'è una serie di gradini a scendere e delle parti sconnesse dove conviene chiudere il passeggino e portare il piccolo o in braccio o per mano. Con mio figlio di 1,5 ho fatto metà metà. (gennaio 2022) Tips for a walk in the gorges with the STROLLER: to find yourself downhill it is better to start the path next to the Church of Sant'Egidio where you will immerse yourself in the gorges dug into the tuff immediately! From there to get under the old village of Corchiano (where there is a climb to the village just before the equipment in the photo) it takes about an hour, including a small break. Attention: most of the route can be covered with a stroller, around the "cave" (photo) approx. halfway there is a series of steps to go down and some disconnected parts where it is advisable to close the stroller and carry the baby either in the arms or by the hand. With my 1.5-year-old son I did half half. (January 2022)
D	Diego Esposito on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Percorso stupendo e alla portata di tutti! Concordo con il parere di alcuni per la mancanza di segnaletica adeguata. Dal centro storico si discende nella valle e il percorso circoscrive il borgo eretto sulla roccia tufacea. In questo tratto si possono osservare alcune grotte preistoriche e delle aree giochi allestite dal comune. Proseguendo oltre si ci avvicina al fiume e lo si affianca per un tratto. Per chi ha voglia senza troppi sforzi si arriva fino alla chiesa della Madonna del Soccorso. Attenzione: il percorso è chiaro e agevole ma il tratto fino alla chiesa non lo trovate su Maps!Questo percorso così descritto richiede circa 1 ora e 30 o più a seconda del passo! Portarsi almeno acqua da bere ! Wonderful path and within everyone's reach! I agree with the opinion of some for the lack of adequate signage. From the historic center you descend into the valley and the path circumscribes the village built on the tufaceous rock. In this stretch you can see some prehistoric caves and play areas set up by the municipality. Continuing further, you get closer to the river and flank it for a while. For those who feel like it, without too much effort, you can reach the church of the Madonna del Soccorso. Attention: the path is clear and easy but the stretch up to the church cannot be found on Maps! This path thus described takes about 1 hour and 30 or more depending on the pace! Bring at least water to drink!
V	Veronica Iovino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facile da raggiungere basta arrivare al centro di Corchiano e seguire le indicazioni per le Forre. È davvero un monumento naturale immerso nel verde del bosco e nel silenzio, segue il corso del fiume, se si prende a sinistra si arriva alle cascatelle in 10-15 minuti. Meravigliosi i "corridoi" di tufo che formano dei tunnel in mezzo al bosco e le grotte! Ideale per una passeggiata e anche per un picnic (ci sono delle aeree di sosta con panche e tavoli) Easy to reach, just get to the center of Corchiano and follow the signs for le Forre. It is truly a natural monument immersed in the green of the woods and in silence, it follows the course of the river, if you turn left you will reach the waterfalls in 10-15 minutes. The tuff "corridors" that form tunnels in the middle of the woods and caves are wonderful! Ideal for a walk and even for a picnic (there are rest areas with benches and tables)

You walk deeply into a sort of natural canyon and across the path there are so many natural sposts to see and discover like river paths, small waterfalls and even a church. It's worth to spend around half day to enjoy this stunning natural location. It's an easy hike so you don't wanna miss it.
