★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This monument is a statue erected in memory of Michele Morelli, an italian patriot born in 1790. He was among the leaders of the revolutionary movement which led to the granting of a Constitution to the former Kingdom of the two Sicilies in 1820. He was then captured and charged with conspiracy crimes and subsequently he was condemned to death by the King Ferdinando I. The Square dedicated to the patriot, who was born in Vibo Valentia, is found in square Edmondo Buccarelli. The same square is also called Piazza Michele Morelli. It is not designed in google map.
