★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything about Montechiaro was perfect. Our host was very accommodating as we had to change our booking at the last minute. The accommodation in the house is traditional, very clean and really comfortable with amazing views over the Italian hills. Food was excellent, some of the nicest food we had on our trip. Sitting on the terrace in the late afternoon with an aperitif was the perfect end to a day of driving and will stay in my memory.

Located outside city centre, which results in a peaceful and quite environment. However, rooms are a bit noisy.
Will definitely come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place for a relaxing stay, located between vineyards and with an amazing view and special atmosphere. Good, typical Italian food for reasonable prices. Lots of self-made, organic products from local production (agroturismo). Minus one star for the soft mattress and menus /service partly only in Italian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 2 nights at the Montechiaro farm. What a beautiful place! The location has an incredible view on the Alpennine mountains, the people are incredibly friendly (thank you Matteo particularly) and the food is great. It’s about 20 mn from Bologna, making it convenient to visit the city while coming back to a very peaceful and serene atmosphere after a long day walk. Thank you everyone, we had a great time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room had an amazing view and although it was a family room (4 people) felt very spacious.
The management was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a delicious dinner with the locally produced wine which it was divine.
The view from the terrace is breathtaking!
Strongly recommend.
