★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo suggestivo del quartiere Colle difficilmente accessibile: si può con visite guidate dalla pro loco di Arpino. La porzione visitabile è limitata ma rende ben conto delle dimensioni e dell'importanza di questo monastero, forse tra i primi fondati da San Benedetto lungo il percorso del santo che va da Norcia a Montecassino. Poter poi ammirare un crocifisso ligneo del XIII secolo, anche se non proprio da vicino, rende la visita interessantissima.
Evocative place in the Colle district difficult to access: you can with guided tours from the Arpino pro loco. The portion that can be visited is limited but it gives good account of the size and importance of this monastery, perhaps among the first founded by San Benedetto along the path of the saint from Norcia to Montecassino. Being able to admire a wooden crucifix of the thirteenth century, even if not really close, makes the visit very interesting.
