★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa miniera scavata nella roccia, fu fonte di approvvigionamento della magnesite minerale utilizzato nel campo della siderurgia e per la realizzazione di mattoni refrattari. L'estrazione del minerale è cominciata nel 1914 e prosegui fino al 1929 dopo di che ci furono altre sporadiche attività di estrazione cessando del tutto nel 1939. In realtà questa miniera insieme alle altre nelle vicinanze, furono strategiche per il territorio nazionale, infatti sopperirono al far bisogno dell' Italia nel periodo del primo conflitto mondiale, quando il minerale non poteva giungere dall'Austria.
This mine dug into the rock was a source of supply of the mineral magnesite used in the steel industry and for the construction of refractory bricks. The mining of the mineral began in 1914 and continued until 1929 after which there were other sporadic mining activities which ceased entirely in 1939. In reality, this mine together with the others nearby, were strategic for the national territory, in fact they compensated needing Italy in the period of the First World War, when the mineral could not come from Austria.
