Great winery near Rome. I been there on June 3rd with some friends from Cleveland USA. We did a walking tour through the vineyard with a local expert, then we walked into 500 century old caves still used to aged the wine.....and we had a great home made food at lunch with a selection of different white wines a one red. Alfredo....the Minardi's farm house owner...is a nice guide and a friendly person. This winery is near Frascati which is a famous hill town in the countryside of Rome..it is highly recommend if you want to do something different from the standard tours. I'll be back very soon! Had the most magical day here! My father and I both agree that this is a must-do if you are in or near Rome. We attended the wine tour and pasta making class. I highly recommend this option as it was such a perfect cultural experience. Chef Luigi and Alfredo patiently instructed us and provided practical tips for all of our future pasta making endeavors. We were then taken on a beautiful tour of the vineyard by Nic. The scenic views provided a picturesque setting to learn about the process of growing grapes and producing wine. To finish up our lesson, we met the charming Umberto in the wine cellar to learn about the way wine was made in previous generations. We loved hearing the stories about his life and learning some of the history behind Minardi Winery. We wrapped up our day with a celebratory meal and wine tasting alongside the other groups. The chefs expertly prepared the pasta we made and although I might be biased, it was the best meaI I had while in Italy! ? While the experience itself was incredibly fun, what really makes the Minardi Winery such a special, warm place is the family and their staff. They made us feel like friends rather than tourists and for that we are truly grateful. This is one of those days you will look fondly back on for years to come. If you have the opportunity to visit the Minardi Winery and the beautiful people who run it, do not miss it!

It was one of the most beautiful experience for me in Italy . I called 2 hours before going to the vineyards. I am very grateful to everyone who arranged everything in such a short notice. Very warm welcome by Alfredo. He was very knowledgeable and charming person. He showed us the whole vineyards, explained everything in details. Wine tasting , cheese pairing, yummy cookies and most importantly amazing hospitality by all the members of the family. They make you feel like home. Thank you so much Alfredo for your great hospitality.

Fantastic day here with the family. We had a awesome pasta cooking class with Chef Fabrizio and Alfredo and then enjoyed our ravioli and fettuccine with a wine tasting. The cellar tour was authentic and interesting as well. Highly recommend this family owned winery!

The Minardi Winery tasting was one of the most enjoyable things we did while in Italy. It was great to get away from the cities to relax enjoy the beautiful surrounding and get a brief history or Frascatti. After a short ride to the winery we immediately felt welcome and at ease as we were given a short tour of the grounds and a lesson in the history of the Winery by Umberto. He introduced us to the process, tools and the area they had been pressing and fermenting the grapes for generations. We were ushered into the main dining area and enjoyed fresh bruschetta, some pasta and other perfectly prepared Italian treats. We tasted two of their white wines that made the area famous and a red table wine. I can't imagine what I would have made it a more enjoyable afternoon.

Me and my wife visit Rome quite often and we are always looking for something special to do every time we are here This time it was Minardi Historic Winery tour. We started in a short walk around Frascati with an excellent guide elaborating about the history of frascati, we had several stops in Frascati prior to visiting the farm house, an historic pasticeria and an old wine house with an amazing host Last we arrived to the beautiful farm house which looks like anything you would imagine a country wine farm house in Italy would look like We had a great review from the owner himself about how wine was made in the old days and we finished with a chef lunch and wine tasting As you can see from the attached photos it was a magical day that worked on all senses Highly recommended!!! ?

We had an amazing time at the Minardi Winery during our cooking class. We made pasta and ravioli under the guidance of our Italian chef, and ended the day with getting to eat not only those, but several courses of amazing food paired with wines. It was an amazing authentic experience!

My husband and I visited the winery October 2021. The property is beautiful with views of Rome in the distance. The whole experience of wine production, wine tasting and food was a truly β€œItalian experience! The family entertainment was most memorable! We didn’t want to leave because of the ambience and hospitality! Don’t pass up the opportunity to visit this wonderful winery!
