Can't beat this station: serves both urban, regional and national railways (ATM Passante, Trenord and Trenitalia) it'also a Metro Station (M2 - green line) has a good parking and private companies bus lines stop here. Has some shops (books, clothing, a bar)

There are pros and cons as usual. Pros are the station is connected with the underground, it is not crowded like the Central station and it is a valid choice for workers. Cons are, it is dirty, it is often populated by gypsies and it is not hard to find pickpockets. So pay attention to your wallet!

We think this station is not so good place for foreing people. The navigation there is bad. Inside of station you can see the time of arriving your train and nomber of platform easly, but if you are already on your platform you can see the time just several minutes before it, a lot of tables are broken. There is no instruction about using tickets and any information about validation. And for us was so painful situation with tickets, we bought it in several minutes before our train and didn't understand well how to validate it (nobody was on platform for asking and we didn't find the machine for validation because it's imposible to see it easily). We thought that posible we can validate tickets in train, but the staff there was not kind, they explained nothing to us. So that's why in train we schould pay fine (100 EU!)! Please be careful with your tickets and validate it before your enter the train.

Disappointing station. My wife and I planned a lovely afternoon transfer. But 1. There were no restaurants open. Because nobody eats on Sundays? 2. The vending machines stole my money, would not give food, would not give change. Unconscionable thievery. A black mark on the thousand year history of Gran Milano. Do not try to spend a cent in this train station, they do not deserve any profit.
