È stata una vera delusione .... ridotto il numero dei banchi esterni e con le stesse cose di migliaia di altri mercatini ed anche i banchi interni erano in gran parte chiusi. Inoltre non si respirava più quell'aria di "romanità" che lo distingueva. I was driven by great expectations for how I was described ... actually magnified !!! It was a real disappointment ... reduced the number of external benches and with the same things as thousands of other markets and even the inner benches were largely closed. Moreover, the air of "romanità" that distinguished it was no longer breathed.

Freschezza, qualità e genuina gentilezza qui valgono più della vastità della scelta. Small, very small; and some kiosks are also closed. But the Mallozzi fish market and Luciana & Francesco's fruit and vegetable stand alone are worth the visit. Freshness, quality and genuine kindness are worth more here than the vastness of the choice.

Io ci vado per due banchi, in particolare: prendo la verdura da Marco e Luigi, ottima verdura, che in gran parte è prodotta da loro, e prendo il pesce fresco da Marco, Giorgia e Roberta, che ti sanno sempre consigliare il pesce migliore e anche la ricetta per cucinarlo. Negli anni sono diventati buoni amici e ci vado volentieri ogni volta che posso. What to say, it's my neighborhood market and I love it no matter what. I go there for two stalls, in particular: I take vegetables from Marco and Luigi, excellent vegetables, which are mostly produced by them, and I take fresh fish from Marco, Giorgia and Roberta, who always know how to recommend the best fish and also the recipe for cooking it. They have become good friends over the years and I love to go there whenever I can.
