★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great place to find fresh local veggies and fruits. The quality and taste of the products are amazing even though the prices are generally higher than groceries. I believe it's totally worth it. Make sure to distinguish those stands that sell their own veggies as opposed to those that resell what ever they but from elsewhere around italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic market! We come here every weekend and every time it never disappoints. Each sellers have fresh local and national products. Some of them only sell their own productions. Prices are fair too! There is also a fishmonger, a butcher, cheese monger and a “tripperia”.
It’s all covered and clean, and has been recently refurbished!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently redone... the market area and the piazza. It’s the best market in Florence in terms of variety, freshness, prices, and vendors. Also a little side shop (pizzicheria) inside the market area sells a 6€ French butter that you MUST try!
