★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi sono sentito chiedere 240 euro per una lampada da appoggio anni 30 priva di paralume, il cui pregio erano alcune parti in alabastro, 35 euro per lo stesso tipo di lampada in stile IKEA sempre priva di paralume.
Gran parte dei prodotti è priva dell'etichetta con il prezzo.

I was asked to pay € 240 for a 1930s table lamp without a lampshade, the value of which was some parts in alabaster, € 35 for the same type of IKEA-style lamp always without a lampshade.
Most of the products are without the price tag.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il negozio e' carino, anche se i prezzi e la varieta' (soprattutto dell'abbigliamento) non sono assolutamente comparabili ai charity e second hand shops in tutto il resto del mondo. Ma la cosa peggiore e' il comportamento della responsabile del settore abbigliamento, che non solo e' scorbutica e arrogante, ma addirittura attacca le dipendenti davanti ai clienti, insultandole e creando un ambiente davvero teso in negozio. Magari ci tornero' per l'arredamento, ma di certo non per l'abbigliamento.
The shop is nice, even if the prices and the variety (especially clothing) are absolutely not comparable to the charity and second hand shops in the rest of the world. But the worst thing is the behavior of the clothing manager, who is not only grumpy and arrogant, but even attacks employees in front of customers, insulting them and creating a really tense shop environment. Maybe I'll come back for the furniture, but certainly not for the clothing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non troppo pulito non troppo ordinato ma con pazienza qualcosa si trova, i prezzi però non sono proprio bassi, comunque è da vedere.
Not too clean not too tidy but with patience something can be found, the prices however are not exactly low, however it is worth seeing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to visit thrift shops in Bergamo to find good deal.
That was several weeks ago.. I waited, to give them a "grace period", but now that is well past reasonable time.
I only got to visit MERCATOPOLI and here is put shortly my experience: BAD.
In all fairness, they do have a variety of stuff; clothes, furniture, kitchenware, art, electronics.
However, the prices exceed what I am of the opinion a second hand shop should have, ie. clothes were quite expensive.
The main reason my experience was bad is, however, bad staff. Only when I came home to Norway did I have to opportunity to Google and discover that the seller outrightly LIED to me. So, I paid for a second hand shirt more than I would for a new one (bought in a retail shop), on all wrong pretense. She went on and on about how great the brand was.. which in truth is something Google has a hard time finding anything from! and what I find is *cheap*.
Yeah.. so , this really saddened me. I thought I had made some good buys and realise I was lied to and cheated. I spent money (much to me!) that I otherwise would have spent on something of value. Bah.. so annoying. Especially that they do not even have the professional courtesy to answer my email.
