★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place and the buffet can be fantastic, but it wasn't in this visit. It's great if you are sitting in the main part, but this time we got seated in the ice-cream bar where the speaker was of poor quality so we couldn't appreciate the DJ's good music - just an irritating noise. Also because we were in that part we got abandoned by the waitress, we would have spent far more on drinks if they'd come to check on us more often.
I'm still giving it 4 stars, because I've had a better time on other occasions. Not sure if they speak English, as we spoke to the staff in Italian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was okay - there are restaurants in the city where you get better quality ingredients for the same price. Nevertheless, Staff was great. Athmosphere was so-so, but generally no reason to complain. Wouldn't advise to others as there are better places in-town, but a very goodhop-in-hop-out option. 4 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right at the foot of Perugia next to the stadium, Menchetti is a bar / restaurant/ pizza place/ bakery open all day. You can eat sitting or take away and offers food and drinks all through the day. What distinguishes Menchetti is the high quality of all of its products - be it a simple coffee and pastry, light lunch, apericena (buffet of variety of dishes plus a drink), pizza or cakes and desserts - everything is homemade and of the highest quality. That's why at whatever time you go you'll find it a busy place. The staff are friendly and excellent, and there is seating both inside and out. Absolutely recommended for anyone passing through Perugia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was great we had ciaccia a type of local bread and faraona. Portion of the faraona is a bit small. Great ambiance. We would have given it a 5 star if not for the rude waiter. He got our order wrong, walked away while we were still talking with him (all the time!)
