I was 'pssst' ed at, multiples times from a witch of a manager from behind the counter; when I turned my head to see what the commotion was about, she shook her boney finger at me, like a mother disciplining a naughty child. ??♀️
From other parts of this world, taking a photo of a nice dessert arrangement is seen as a compliment, not something you should be ashamed of.
If anything, witchy manager, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Pictures of the Vatican ?, pictures of pastries in this McDonald's ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have Bacon McMuffin and it was good. They have tablets on the tables that I didn't touch due to Covid. Saw lots of old people and nuns. The workers are the nicest I've encountered at McDonald's in Italy. They're not this nice in Milan where I live.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was definitely better here than the other one in Messina, Sicily. There are restrooms inside and they were clean. Very nice interior with plenty of seating. Free Wi-Fi inside. Pastries in the cafe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This McDonalds is lacking several fundamental items, such as drinks straws & milkshakes in general. Staff mopping the floor just push you out of the way whilst waiting for your food and you get evicted from the table as soon as you are done eating to make way for other diners. Not my favourite location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place itself and service is good but it is marred by the wave of people that come and go. On a rainy Monday the place was packed at 130pm and the line for the toilet was a good 30 minutes. Tables were also rare and many people pushing in to grab free tables. Doesn't help that some tables have an interactive screen where people idly sit by playing solitaire (instead of eating) admist the chaos. Would not recommend during busy times (lunch /dinner) unless desperate.

As a solo traveler, I don’t have the leisure to wait for more than 30 min for my food, which happens a lot in local restaurants.
McDonald’s here has salad with local dressing.
But avoid the premium fries, cuz it’s really soggy!!
