★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has the BEST pasta we tried in Rome!! Their carbonara is perfection - not too salty (like some places we tried). The gnocchi is tender and full of flavor. The ravioli with spinach and tonarello cacio e Pepe were also excellent. They also have fantastic pistachio flavor tiramisu. The service was also amazing and I would come back here a million times!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking at the reviews we had really high expectations and were super happy to eat the Easter lunch in this place after having waited outside for about 45 minutes (the place is tiny). Unfortunately the artichoke was nothing special. Pasta was also very average especially compared to other options in the town. The place itself although cosy was quite dirty with spider webs hanging in the corners.

The food is prepared with such an ease yet tasted like nothing you have tasted before. The seasoning, cheese, sauce, pepper...everything was just perfect.
Cacio e Pepe was simply superb and Ravioli filled with spinach was out of the world.
We had Eggplant parmesan for appetizer and it was excellent.
The place is fairly small and the Owner/Chef of the place keeps everyone smiling throughout the meal with his engagement to every single customer.
My advice would be to get a reservation; my wife and I did not have any and we got lucky to have a table.
I would strongly recommend you to eat here. This is not your fancy place where you will be greeted with waitress and warm chair... However, if eating good food is your goal; then this is the place you should come to.
