★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Mausoleo Politi, fu scoperto dall' archeologo Vincenzo Politi nel 1826. Il Mausoleo di epoca tardo romana, IV sec. d. C. , si trova oggi al di sotto del piano stradale, e all' interno vi si trovano due sarcofaghi, e degli affreschi floreali con due disegni di pavoni . Il Mausoleo si trova accanto alla fermata del bus navetta, di fronte il Santuario, ed è ben conservato e pulito, un pannello informativo in italiano e inglese, illustra il monumento.
The Politi Mausoleum was discovered by the archaeologist Vincenzo Politi in 1826. The Mausoleum of the late Roman period, IV century d. C., is found today below the street level, and inside there are two sarcophagi, and floral frescoes with two peacock drawings. The Mausoleum is located next to the shuttle bus stop, in front of the Sanctuary, and is well preserved and clean, an information panel in Italian and English illustrates the monument.
