★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had breakfast here once, croissants were simply fluffy and yummy. Had cappuccino and was very impressed. Wifey noticed the barista grounded the coffee beans manually and it tasted fantastic (creamy texture ?? How did he do it!? But it was soooo good). Wished we came here once more before we left Rome as that was the best coffee we had in Rome so far! 10/10 would and should have done it again!
Wifey’s comments: 2euros for coffee and croissant, you can’t go wrong! The croissant was one of the best we had in Rome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SO GOOD!! We ended up finding the street food the most delightful in Rome when compared to restaurants, so would definitely recommend visiting Mato. The pizzas are on a facaccia base (incredible!) and there area vast range of sides to choose from, we just built our own mini buffet. The cakes are also a must as they are made fresh each day, making them extra delicious.
