★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to a few restaurants while in Italy, but Da Giovanni is definitely one of my favorites. It’s a cozy little restaurant, with the simplicity of a family business. The food is obviously homemade, fresh, and tasty. Also, a great option for a not expensive meal and a legit espresso. Don’t forget to try the tiramissu. It’s amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious traditional food and family run restaurant. For two people we spent €41 on a starter, two sides, two pastas, a dessert, wine and beer. Excellent service and nice people. Interior is very simple but the food is tasty. Nice for a quiet, traditional meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a 5 minute walk from most hotels but a hidden gem. Great classic italian dishes in a homey environment with great service. Wife and I had 3 courses, wine and espresso and it came to 40 euros. One of the better meals I've had in Rome especially for the price!

We were passing by this place by mistake.
The owner Fabricio saw us looking at his refrigerator. He had cow meet and pork meet. I asked questions. He answered politely and professionally. We ordered a steak and grilled pork. The dishes were amazing. The restaurant name is Da Giovanni. Only Italian people eat here. It’s a hidden gem. The restaurant was established by his father In 1948. His Service and cooking are excellent. We strongly recommend. Run in your thousands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This os a place surrounded by embassies , govt offices .. offices of high and mighty president etc etc .. And that tells its legacy and prestige since 1948.
This is the most non touristy place we went to. We walked around one hour to and fro.Their Ravioli filled with meat was to fie for.one old guy serving. The atmosphere and the attention you get is like fine dining. We were the only one till 930 pm .. then it started to fill up .. its really good and menu is short and has date . Its nice and it’s for a touch of class! We had a heart full meal , desserts were really nice.
