The burgers are homemade, worth trying, and I rarely praise a burger.
Has the atmosphere of a Belgian Bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing and unique place for both food and drink. I had a Caponata which was delicious and in the top 3 things I have ever eaten in Trieste. I could go on and on about it but I will leave it at it tasted wonderful. The beer was also really lovely and I am not a beer drinker at all. This experience reminded me of how old countryside pubs are in the UK. The thought and passion they have put into this place was evident. They clearly care about what they do and you can feel it. Complimenti ❤️?????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best craft beer location in Trieste. Daniele, the bartender, is welcoming and knowledgeable. His English is excellent too, so if you're from out of town don't be afraid to visit. A decent number of beers on tap rotation and quite a few bottles to choose from. A really worthwhile visit if you are see stopping in Trieste. I'll definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mastro Birraio is a small and cozy beer pub that offers a great selection of local and international craft beers. The burger and fries we had were also were good. When I inquired about whether I could buy one of the local beers anywhere to take home, the owner Daniele went beyond the call of duty and contacted the brewer directly to ask him about.
I'll definitely make sure to come back here when I return to Trieste.

Small and cozy, exactly what we needed on a rainy sunday.
The burger and the beer were extremely good.
