Masseria Montenapoleone - C.da Bicocca (via delle Croci) n8

A true Masseria, growing olive trees, almond trees, different wheat, and more. The garden is gorgeous and so is everything else. The rooms and suites are very comfortable. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

I will forever be indebted to the beautiful people at the Masseria. They hold a special place in my heart. I’ve never felt more at home in all my traveling. This place is truly a hidden gem, if you ever have the chance to visit please do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed!! The food, the service, the quality, EVERYTHING is out of a dream! Good food generous portions. The only issue was being given my main course on a chipped plate when the 7 other people on my table had perfect plates, and being told that it was authentic for the area ???!! It isn't - it's unhygienic! Surely if you serve good food the presentation is equally important. Had you apologised you may have scored 5. However you did replace the plate - thank you

What can I say about this place? Couldn't recommend it enough! Beautiful Masseria run by amazing family. Scenery - what I can say is that the photos on the website undersell the beauty of the masseria and surrounding areas! All of the rooms have such great character - something for everyone depending on what size you are looking for Beautiful swimming pool - more like a lagoon with beds all around Food - Great food - fresh seafood, fresh pasta, changing menus Waiting staff - Super friendly - just as you would expect Location - Located 10 minutes drive from the coast (definitely worth renting a car) Overall - perfect location for a few days stay during your travels through Puglia - THANK YOU Alessandra & Giuliano

This masseria was wonderful, in every way. Our room was spacious & included some nice treats when we arrived (almonds, peanuts, candy-coated almonds) & we also had 4 complimentary bottles of water in our fridge. There was a thick, high quality white duvet & white sheets & a spacious bathroom. I LOVED the views of the countryside & fruit trees & the little balcony we could sit on. Breakfast was fantastic! They arrive at your table with a tray full of goodies-- croissants, cakes, breads, cookies (in a bag so you can take them to go if you wish) & a basket of fruit. We requested meats & cheeses & were pleased with a plate of ricotta & fresh burrata! as well as salami & you MUST try their eggs! I am not a huge scrambled egg person but these were creamy perfection. We had dinner at the restaurant 2 nights because with the Covid restrictions all local restaurants must close at 6 pm. However, guests at the masseria can dine at any time on-site (what a perk!). Beyond that, the food, wine & ambiance was FANTASTIC! This place is not inexpensive, but we had a homemade tagliatelle pasta with sausage meat balls & tomatoes that was incredible. It was so simple & yet outstanding; my son & I couldn't stop raving about it. There are also MANY animals on this masseria, which my son loved. We befriended the 3 dogs who wander around freely & each day went to the animal area & enjoyed seeing the pigs, chickens, ostrich! & goats. I was a little heartbroken seeing rabbits all crammed in a tiny cage with no room to stretch or even walk.... this is considered unacceptable & cruel in the United States & I'm hoping they do let the rabbits out of that cage at times?? I think one of my favorite parts of this masseria was the way the staff says you can walk around anywhere, explore & enjoy. It made for such a relaxing & welcoming feeling. I also had a couple questions during our stay & could WhatsApp text them & they would respond within moments. Additionally, I have yet to see any hotel or lodging option go to such strong measures for cleanliness, safety & hygiene; Masseria Montenapoleone followed the protocols to the letter, & then some. When we visit Puglia again I will only choose masserias (loved them!) & we will return to Masseria Montenapoleone again. What an extraordinary, special place.

Gorgeous masseria with very comfortable, charming rooms and expansive grounds. Lots of cute cats and dogs walking around! The pool area is also very comfortable with nice beds to lie on. The breakfast is amazing too, so much choice and lots of locally produced, wholesome food.

Appallingly rude. Came to discuss our wedding, but were kept waiting for 20 minutes after which we were told we are not welcome and shouldn’t look around. Would absolutely not come back here under any circumstances.

A magical paradise! It’s hard for me to even articulate how special it is. A grand entrance gate welcomes you to adventure down a winding path to the paradise of this masseria. Once inside you’re swept away into the beautiful landscape with blossoming flowers, fragrant citrus and herbs growing all around. Enjoy a spritz under the canopy of trees, relax by the pool, flex your muscles in the outdoor gym, stroll the gardens, or delight your taste buds with a delicious meal in the restaurant. Everything is organically grown, completely custom, and locally made with love. From the unique design and decor of each room, to the beautiful crafted red wine and perfectly prepared cuisine… every single detail is absolute perfection. Want to really indulge? Make an appointment at the herbarium for a spa treatment. It’s an extremely luxurious experience.
