We celebrated our wedding here and our families stayed the night. An unbelievable experience, memories that will last forever, every single detail was taken care of by the staff at Don Luigi, and our families are blown away.

I was here for my brother's wedding and I can't think of better words to say. This is the best place ever in my life. The food was delicious and fresh, the place in todo is gorgeous, the workers are just amazing. Thank you all for the great wedding and little vacation you helped me to have here.

We booked this venue for our June 2021 wedding in the beginning of this year. A couple of weeks after we give the deposit and secure our date, COVID-19 was all over the news and the pandemic had commenced. It's public knowledge that Italy at one point was hit the hardest with the highest amount of deaths which was a huge cause for concern. As time passed, we noticed that things were getting worse and we were being realistic with our expectations, it would not be safe to travel abroad until a vaccine was created. After speaking with all of our friends and family, we realized it was not morally right to make the people closest to us feel obligated to travel under such risky conditions. We contacted our wedding planner requesting if we could get our deposit back as our friends and family were on edge about booking their flights and travelling anywhere for the next year (especially to Italy) and that no one would probably attend. She contacted Masseria Don Luigi and they told her No, and that we could just post pone the wedding date. We explained that we felt that it wasn't fair to post pone our wedding date as we were giving over a year notice, as well as if they could make an exception due to the global pandemic, they still refused. There is something severely wrong with a business who chooses to treat those so unethically under such circumstances. If we were giving over a years notice, they could easily book a different couple perhaps who actually live in the same country. We would be coming from Canada and who knows what travel restrictions may or may not be put in place. Sincerely disappointed with the way this business chooses to run regardless of how picturesque the property is. To top it off, our Italian wedding planner from Milan "Danila" informed my fiance and I that according to Italian law, "all deposits are non refundable". Despite "Italian law", there is a time and place where those of us can use our moral compass to decide what is "right and wrong"

I was fortunate enough to spend two nights at Don Luigi, and regret not staying there longer. It's a small resort, with a really intimate atmosphere. The price was right, with the experience beating some way more expensive resorts nearby. The food was incredible, again, the best I tasted in the region. The staff was incredibly attentive, and approached us at the exact right time - they just appeared to be more natural in their work (we even had a member of staff teach us how to properly cut up loquat). You will NOT regret your stay here.

I was there for a wedding. The venue is beautiful, full of old olive trees, big green fields and a pool. The people managing the place are professional and ready to help with a smile. Never experienced before such high standard of service. Highly recommended.
