Positive:
- 30 min on foot from matera City Center (if you want to dive in the Night life)
- cheap (but not in Relation to what it has to offer)
- there is a Shuttle from the restaurant to town
Negative:
- Stuffed with camping cars (even in off-season)
- the toilets are not well maintained (odeur)
- we didn't find any place to wash our dishes
- it looks like the combination of a parking lot and a construction site (no charme)
Conclusion: Convenient for one night, but we were very happy to leave early the next morning.

β β β β β I camped here recently for the 4th time in the last 10 years. It was a very windy evening so I found shelter behind a wall and trees for the tent. At 9.30 in the evening the staff told me to move the tent to a open space with no protection. The wind broke my tent completly. I wasn't in anyone way at all. will never return.

β β β β β Been here twice in a campervan. The staff are very helpful and the shuttle bus to Matera is invaluable! The food is delicious and the prices reasonable.We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting Matera.

β β β β β Peaceful location with a 2 km walk into Matera. There is a navette bus service. Matera was well worth a visit. Remarkable place. Camping had clean but old facilities. Showers were closed when we visited. Lots of sun at parking.

β β β β β Camping on the farm. Ideal place for exploring Sassi. If you want to do it be as early as possible. In the tent area you need minimum 20m cable if you need electricity. I'll give them five stars but you have to pay to use the shower. It is not just a question of money: you have to go to the reception for a key then take a shower and return the key.

β β β β β A really nice place to stop in a camper or inn, the food is super, I recommend everyone to try at least one lunch. Matera (I sassi) are 3km away, to be done by taxi or bike, the road is not for walking. The camper stop is pleasant. The kind staff, all in the standard, but the cook has something more.
