s	salvo fat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ abbiamo faticato ad entrare, sembrava chiuso, non rispondevano al citofono. il personale addetto per la visita guidata non era presente, ci siamo arrangiati da soli, non c'erano molte spiegazioni in inglese ed in generale i vari pezzi esposti non erano ben spiegati, il luogo sembra troppo spoglio, mancava il condizionamento ed era caldo, deludente complessivamente. we struggled to enter, it seemed closed, they did not answer the intercom. the staff for the guided tour were not present, we made do by ourselves, there were not many explanations in English and in general the various pieces on display were not well explained, the place seems too bare, there was no air conditioning and it was hot, disappointing overall.

Nascosto alla maggior parte dei suoi cittadini favara offre questo meraviglioso Museo delle Mandorle dove nel Silenzio e nella quiete oltre che a meravigliose fotografie c'è la cultura delle mandorle indiscussa la qualità è la bellezza. Hidden from most of its citizens, Favara offers this marvelous Almond Museum where in silence and tranquility as well as wonderful photographs there is the undisputed culture of almonds, quality and beauty. Ho telefonato e mi è stato detto di tornare nel pomeriggio perché avevano un gruppo pagante che stava facendo il giro. Ho fatto presente che non c'era scritto di dover prenotare,che comunque era in aoraroo di apertura, che non potevamo tornare perché veniamo da Firenze e non avevano un'altra occasione, che ci avrebbe cmq dovuto far entrare e ci saremmo accontentati di citare senza guida ecc... E lei ha buttato giù il telefono e non ha più risposto. Una vergogna totale !!! Spero che si prendano seri provvedimenti. Per fortuna abbiamo potuto visitare il castello di Chiaramonte ,al contrario gestito benissimo e con una guida brava e appassionata Despite the opening hours it was closed. Poca professionalità, dalla targa sembra pagato dall'Unione Europea chiaramente soldi immeritati. Il numero indicato risulta un Vodafone spento :( The museum should close at 6.30pm but the caretaker left before 5pm. Little professionalism, the plaque seems to be paid by the European Union clearly undeserved money. The number indicated is a Vodafone turned off :(
A	Aurora Frumento on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forse non l'abbiamo cercato nel periodo giusto, siamo stati a Favara verso la metà di agosto ed era sempre chiuso, senza mostrare indicazioni su quando avrebbe riaperto. Alla fine siamo riusciti a farci un giro: è molto bello, ben fatto, le grafiche sono chiare e la visita vale la pena. Meglio provare a telefonare prima di andare. Maybe we didn't look for it at the right time, we were in Favara in mid-August and it was always closed, without showing any indication of when it would reopen. In the end we were able to take a tour: it is very nice, well done, the graphics are clear and the visit is worthwhile. Better try calling before you go.
