I Cannoli sono superlativi e le paste come una volta.Niente di stucchevole! L'ambiente è genuino, che ti aspetti nelle province italiane. Il personale è gentile. La protagonista è la pasticceria! The real Sicilian pastry. The scent already intoxicates you as soon as you enter the pastry shop and you understand that you are in the right place. The Cannoli are superb and the pastas as they once were. Nothing cloying! The environment is genuine, which you expect in the Italian provinces. The staff is nice. The protagonist is the pastry!

Mangiarlo è proprio un'esperienza extrasensoriale e lo dice una persona che non ama i dolci alla ricotta. Questo bar è un'istituzione della tradizione dolciaria favarese, entrando percepisci già dall'ambiente di fare un tuffo nel passato ed in effetti guardando i prodotti non vedi alcuna novità ne i soliti banconi lunghi e pieni di chissa quanti tipi di dolci a cui ormai siamo abituati. Ci sono i dolci tradizionali, tra cui appunto spiccano il cannolo e la pasta elena, è il punto di forza sta proprio qui, trovi poche cose ma squisite! Ogni mattina cornetti artigianali e biscottoni al cioccolato sempre freschi. Che dire, una garanzia, e se ancora non bastasse c'è anche la gentilezza di tutta la famiglia che rende il tutto ancora più buono. Ed invece...la cortesia e l'educazione di questa famiglia mi ha lasciata senza parole. Si sono subito interrogati su cosa potessero offrirmi e mi hanno portato un dolce senza latte, servendomelo farcito di marmellata e arricchito con torrone, perché non fosse un ripiego. La foto non rende, l'avevo già addentrato per la gioia. Se questo è il risultato, fatevi avanti, non immagino il resto!
