Oggi sede del dipartimento di Storia dell'università di Firenze racchiude nelle sue stanze più antiche e rimaste ben conservate dei veri gioielli architettonici e pittorici.
Da visitare dietro appuntamento con l'Università stessa.
Palazzo Fenzi then Marucelli in Via San Gallo is another hidden jewel of Florence.
Today it houses the Department of History of the University of Florence and contains in its oldest rooms, well preserved architectural gems and paintings.
To be visited by appointment with the University itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palazzo Fenzi poi Palazzo Marucelli. All'ingresso del grande portone, è esposto in cima lo stemma della famiglia Fenzi. Colpisce la grande locomotiva, in ricordo alla prima ferrovia toscana che portava da Firenze a Livorno. Infatti lo stemma rappresenta la fortuna imprenditoriale del ingegnere Fenzi, costruisce la "La Leopolda" in onore al GranDuca Leopoldo II di Lorena.
Palazzo Fenzi then Palazzo Marucelli. At the entrance to the large door, the coat of arms of the Fenzi family is displayed at the top. The great locomotive is striking, in memory of the first Tuscan railway that led from Florence to Livorno. In fact, the emblem represents the entrepreneurial fortune of the engineer Fenzi, he builds the "La Leopolda" in honor of the Grand Duke Leopoldo II of Lorraine.
