β β β β β Great tour with many interesting information about Carrara region and marble industry. Our guide was super with perfect english. Also during Covid times, i felt safe because we entered the cave in our own car and the tour was in a small group. Highly recommended!

We wanted to see what and how they extracted this white marble and the Marmo Tour gave us this. We came somehow in the afternoon and with the vehicles and helmets of the workers we came to the center of the mountain and got all the necessary explanations how the marble cuts ....

β β β β β This is one of the most interesting tours I have ever taken.
Since I strugled to find independent information that was not posted by tour operators, here we go:
As of October 2019, there are two separate tours offered on site. You drive there through a steep, curvy road, sharing it with big trucks, all the way up the mountain.
Once you get there, on your way to the parking lot, you pass two tour providers. One is a simple trailer/shipping container and the other is attached to the restaurant. The latter offers the tour of the quarry on the outside up the mountain for β¬12. The former offers the tour of the inside cave for β¬10.
I did both and they are worth it.
Just be attentive on the drive up because we got lost twice following Google Maps.

β β β β β Fantastic tour of the impressive marble caves. Francesca, our guide spoke perfect English and presented very well. I wish the tour lasted a bit longer for the 15 β¬ we paid per person, but it was still worth it and I would totally recommend it!

The tour guide Francesca is very knowledgeable and kind, although the tour seemed to be a little short (35mins) it was fabulous and totally worth the 15β¬.
Inside the cave is fantastic, If you have the opportunity go for it.
