Just be careful of the restaurants.... not all are honest...like Ristorante Angelina which charged €9 for a glass of house wine.

We can not recommend Walter and his spectacular boat enough. Walter, his wife and Gabrielle, his crewman, were all exceptional. These are humble, honest and trustworthy people who made my birthday celebrations truly amazing and memorable.
The boat is very luxurious, modern and spotless. We had 11 people on board with plenty of room. It has the capacity to take 16 passengers. Although the weather was overcast and the sea a little rough, Walter managed to make the day just perfect, finding a little cove to anchor where we were able to swim in the crystal clear waters.
We took in the breathtaking views of Taormina and Castel Mola from the water and visited the Love Grotto and the Blue Grotto, where Walter skilfully manoeuvred his boat into. I sat on the bow with friends admiring the luminous blue water in the grotto.
Walter prepared a delicious spread for our lunch and an incredible touch and surprise was a pistachio ice cream birthday cake being delivered to our boat by another boat.
Everything you need is on board, all you have to bring is yourself and your swimming costume. Having the convenience of a toilet/shower on board made it comfortable for everyone. There was even a hot hand held shower on deck to rinse of after a swim.
We researched and contacted a lot of boat hire companies before we hit the jackpot finding Walter. We could not fault our experience, it was well worth it. Thanks so much!
