I think the person who runs the clothing store is one of the most hateful encountered but nice things albeit too expensive in my opinion.

Una scortesia ed una supponenza mai riscontrate. Molto sconsigliato!
My experience was very similar to that of Ms. Alberta Bruni Prato, with the difference that the shirt whose exchange I was refused had been purchased two days earlier.
A rudeness and an arrogance never encountered. Very not recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi sono entrata nel negozio di Mari Carraro per chiedere di cambiare un maglioncino che mi era stato regalato.
Avevo intenzione di abbinarlo con un paio di calzoni che sapevo vengono sempre venduti e, solo come ultima opzione, avrei chiesto il cambio.
La signora ha guardato lo scontrino e mi ha detto che non era possibile, il cambio andava chiesto entro una settimana; in sostanza lo stesso trattamento previsto nelle televendite (con tutto il rispetto per queste ultime).
In questo negozio ho fatto molteplici acquisti (cappotto, maglioni, pantaloni e casacche di lino, orecchini vari), da oggi in avanti mi rivolgerò altrove.
Per fortuna, a Bologna, si può contare su altri negozi d'abbigliamento, che gestiscono la clientela in maniera più professionale, cortese ed empatica!
Today I went into Mari Carraro's shop to ask to change a sweater that had been given to me.
I was going to pair it with a pair of breeches that I knew are always being sold and, only as a last resort, I would have asked for a change.
The lady looked at the receipt and told me that it was not possible, the change had to be requested within a week; essentially the same treatment envisaged in teleshopping (with all due respect for the latter).
In this shop I made many purchases (coat, sweaters, linen trousers and jackets, various earrings), from now on I will turn elsewhere.
Fortunately, in Bologna, you can count on other clothing stores, which manage customers in a more professional, courteous and empathetic way!
