"Makauda Beach Residence"

The facility is clean, and is immersed in nature just a step away from the sea. The apartments are spacious and clean, those on the upper floor have a beautiful terrace. Equipped beach and the lifeguard is always present. The managers are attentive and supportive for today's need

Comfortable and clean accommodation, very complete accommodation facilities, beach 10 steps from the accommodation, attentive staff, kind and available from reception to beach service without neglecting the service personnel, excellent miniclub service, well organized and functional common areas, suitable for families with children who can move independently within the structure without any danger. Very quiet, peaceful with pure relaxation. On vacation like at home.

I stayed at the Makauda residence with my family from 16 to 23 August 2020. The structure is shabby and at times dilapidated. Sports facilities (basketball / tennis / soccer field) not safe because they are maintenance free. Ours, despite being the newest apartment, had no mosquito nets (which the other apartments had) and instead of blinds there were curtains that did not allow the shutters of windows and balconies to be kept open. We had been advised that our bathroom had been refurbished to accommodate people with disabilities, but the only remark made by the managers was the absence of the bidet. We were not told that the shower tray had a wrong slope and therefore that, with each shower, we would be flooded with relative long waste of time. The rudeness and lack of propensity to welcome the managers manifested themselves until check out, when, instead of being sorry for their organizational and logistical failures, they only claimed the extra for air conditioning (50 euros a week .. .but they then wanted 60 for payment by ATM). Don't forget the rusty umbrellas on the beach. The value for money compared to other structures lived in Sicily is absolutely bad ... the only positive note, being directly on the sea and in a very quiet fraction of Sciacca.

Makauda beach sciacca holidays from 10 July to 7 August 2021 the residence is excellent comfortable and very spacious accommodation large veranda for outdoor dining huge barbecue more than comfortable spaces the bellaaaa thing is that you open the gate and you are directly on the beach, breathtaking sea crystal clear suitable for small children the beach is a private part of the residence so each house has its own umbrella and 2 sun loungers there is space for everyone with a 10 minute walk you will arrive at the barracuda beach where a very beautiful natural swimming pool has formed while attached to the residence there is the lido paliko that offers every good of godooo angel and Benny the conductors of the residence are always available for everything whatever request you make they are always present and friendly their work they make the most of it to put customers at ease sooooo braviiiiii then there is Federica lanimatrice which takes the children to the heart of the games wonderful compliments a praise goes well you have lifeguards Dav ide vincezo robeto and Antonino always cordial polite sympathetic and joking nothing is missing in this place that does not make you feel in heaven very good and humble everyone A few km about 7 towards ribera there are super markets such as eurospin lidl conad while towards sciacca there are other supermarkets and the distance is always the same so you are spoiled for choice on thursday ha ribera there is the street market which is located of everything while on Saturday the street market is ha sciacca I repeat on this land nothing is missing on this residence you will find so much friendliness and you will find many friendships and the only flaw and my advice is missing a small minimarket inside the residence that can serve you the minimum essential things I do not find other improvements to recommend as a whole I can only say unaaaaaa favolaaaaaaa?️?️?️??? ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️??

The sea (wonderful) is really a few steps from the house and the residence is nice. The boys are extremely available at all times and for any need. Even the entertainment for children, albeit with Federica alone, was much appreciated by the children who had fun ? the houses are simple but have everything you need (no washing machine). From the lido it is also possible to reach "swimming pool" beaches within a few minutes' walk. We enjoyed it very much, we recommend it ?

Family place very close to the beach (sand) with private access. The apartments are quite large with an external veranda (not fenced, too bad). If there was a little fence, it would also be more appropriate for the animals that must instead be tied up. STRUCTURE PETFREE ?: in such a large place it would therefore be possible (I recommend) to create a fenced space dedicated to animals to be able to leave them free. There is a large and very nice equipped barbecue area, even illuminated in the evening. There are games for children ? You have a completely abandoned regulatory five-a-side football pitch, with patches and doors without nets. 1 Ping-pong table and 1 table football. (Tip: an indoor Beach Volleyball court would be nice and easy to build. In the period of early September we suffered a lot from the presence of bees and wasps continuously in front of the veranda. Excellent after-sales service: the managers promptly meet our needs. Finally, given the proximity and beauty of the beach, Quality / Price ratio: 8. Place with great potential Recommended.

Spacious apartment with mega terrace overlooking the sea. Access to the sea and private beach (beautiful sea). Half-renovated structure therefore uncrowded and quiet. The only notes to keep in mind the village is isolated to do the shopping you need to go to Sciacca, the road to enter or exit requires you to make a stretch in the opposite direction unless you want to do 10km instead of 10m. These are obviously aspects not attributable to the structure which in my opinion remains super recommended
